Progress on Pleasant Valley Parkway

Update: Stormwater Management Project Near Completion

Dear Neighbors,

You may have noticed that Pleasant Valley Parkway has recently undergone some major improvements and I wanted to provide you with an update.

Firstly, I’m happy to announce that the Pleasant Valley Stormwater Management Project is almost complete.

Crews have also been on Pleasant Valley Parkway resetting sunk and broken curbs, leveling storm basins and addressing drainage in preparation for the repaving of the section of the street that runs from Justice Street to Roger Williams Hospital.

Crews are finishing the install of new ADA compliant crosswalks and work will begin soon to install raised crosswalks at the bridges. The painted bike lanes and current street direction will remain unchanged.
