The Partnership for Providence Parks, The Friends of Mt. Pleasant Park, and I have recently launched the Produce in the Park Fall Market Share program available this Fall at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers’ Market.
Produce in the Park connects the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood with weekly shares of local, sustainably-grown food specifically, we offer produce shares sourced from local farmers.
If we register enough shareholders paying full price for their shares, we will be able to subsidize shares and get produce to families in our community who aren't able to pay full price for the share.
